For the past few months I’ve now been meeting and hanging out with Jordan, with JB Artistry. I do believe that every single time we hang out we have a new idea for the art world, for business, or just truly for the adventure of it. Normally its Jordan that has the general idea and then we both get excited and keep building on the thoughts! It’s awesome. I’m sure by reading and following my blog, one could tell of my vision for photography, and how new themes just add to my sheer excitement.
Jordan has just released and announced “the critique“. Jordan realized that while she was in school one thing she appreciated was the critique from professors, artists, and those in the art realm. As she neared graduation she realized she would no longer have this critique, therefore she decided she would create her own! One afternoon as we sat at Panera, working on my website and other ideas, she mentioned “the critique” to me. As you can guess, I thought it was a grand idea! As a photographer I think critiquing is essential. To wrap it up, Jordan has created a Facebook page, a twitter account, and a website is in the workings for “the critique.” Jordan asked me to join her with the new venture as a panel member! I am thrilled. So together, we will be critiquing. :)
All in all, if you are in the art realm you need to check this out! Jordan has gone in depth to explain the whole idea on her blog. Read her post. Start follow “the critique.” Pass the info along to your friends and family. Lets join together in the art world to improve the art we are creating!

My friend, Jordan and I threw a Terrarium Soiree just in time for Mother’s Day. These little plants make for the perfect little Mother’s Day gift!
So if you haven’t figured out your table arrangement for Mother’s Day lunch or you still need a gift, make a terrarium!
I made multiple ones. They will be used for the table arrangements and then will be given to Grandmother, Mother, and the other mothers that will join us for Mother’s Day lunch tomorrow!
All you need is
1) A vase of sorts (We used mason jars, mugs, tea cups, glass vases, etc.)
2) Potting soil
3) Little rocks (bought at the dollar store)
4) Moss (bought at the dollar store)
5) Succulent plants (bought mine at home depot)
Assemble it together like the photo below and Ta-Da! You have a beautiful little Terrarium!

Enjoy your weekend!
Last but not least, happy Mother’s Day to all mothers!
~Sarah
